| Abdalla.S. Wifi is professor, Department of Mechanical design and Production, Cairo University, Egypt. He is also a fellow adjunct Professor, the American university in Cairo. He has also served as a Visiting Professor, for a number of years, at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, King Saud University. His research interests are in computational stress analysis, metal forming, die design and modelling and simulation of thermal and mechanical processes with emphasis on the application of analytical and finite element techniques to the optimization of deformation processes. Recently he extended his research interests to sustainable energy and solar collectors. |
| He is the author of 6 books and more than 80 papers in refereed international journals and conferences in the above areas. He is also the member of the international boards and scientific committees of many international conferences on advanced materials processing (AMPT, AMME, MDP and others). Dr.Wifi is the deputy Editor in Chief of the Journal of Achievements in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering (JAMME), and a member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Mechanics and Solids (IJM&S). He is a reviewer of many distinguished international journals such as Applied Thermal Engineering (ATE), Machine tool design (IJMATOOLS ) and the ASME Journal of Pressure vessel technology (JPVT). Dr. Wifi is a recognized judge of QNRF in Qatar and KACST in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Wifi is the Secretary General of the National Scientific Committee of Egypt for the promotion of University Professors |
